Our Managing Director & Founder. Htet founded Rangoon Tea House in November 2014 and is passionate about all things related to innovating not only new dishes and drinks, but also pushing boundaries culturally. Awarded the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Asia in 2016, Htet continues to push boundaries within the F&B scene in Myanmar.
Having worked in various kitchens across Malaysia for 10 years, Chef Aung Linn was one of Rangoon Tea House's very first employees. Having been promoted to Senior Sous chef in 2016, he assumed the role of Executive Chef in 2019. A passionate and diligent worker, Chef Aung Linn wants to bring Burmese food to the forefront of Southeast Asia.
Hnin Pwint Aye
Hnin is RTH Groups Beverage Manager. Having joined in 2020, she has 10+ years of experiences in renowned bars and hotels globally, including Bar Manager at Rendezvous at Sofitel Macau, Mixologist at Renaissance Hotel Dubai, Head Bartender at The Grosvenor House Dubai. Extremely passionate about being unique, creative, she is ambitious about putting all the groups restaurants on the map.
Isabella Sway Tin
Our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Izzy has been with us since the very start. Having been raised in Myanmar, Izzy studied at UNSW in Sydney. Since 2016, she oversees the Financial and Administrative parts of the business and is also in charge of Corporate Social Governance and investor relations.
May Thaw Tar
Having been born in Myanmar, May moved to Melbourne in Australia in her teens. Having worked in hospitality since her early 20s, May moved back to Myanmar in 2017 and joined RTH as the Head of Operations. Having been promoted to Director of operations in mid 2020, May is passionate about serving customers and training the next generation.
